Build the habits you want. Break the ones you don't. Remember the rest.
Today tracks your habits and the tasks that keep coming back. It opens on your day: what is left to do, what is done, what is running late. Your data stays on your phone.

What it does
Habits at your own pace
Every day. Three times a week. The first Monday of the month. Or three days after the last time you actually did it, counted from you and not from the calendar. Your streak means something, because the schedule is the real one.
The habits you want to stop
Track one in reverse. Log it each time it happens, and set how many a day you allow yourself. A day that ends under the limit is a day held, and those days add up like any other streak.
A year at a glance
Every day of the year as one square, filled by how much of that day you did. Months of consistency read in one look, and so do the gaps. An empty square means nothing was due. That is not the same as a day you missed.
Measure what you track
A weight, a distance, a time off the built-in stopwatch, a rating, a price, a note on how it went. Ten kinds of reading in all. Several per task, with the chart that goes with them.
Checklists, with a clock per step
A session is a warm-up, the work, a stretch. Run it step by step. The clock keeps going on the Lock Screen, phone in your pocket.
Whatever you didn't get to moves
Push a task to tomorrow, or to a day you pick. Some are wider than a day from the start, like tidying the garage some time this week. Your history goes on saying what really happened.
Reminders that stay on the device
Set them once, days ahead if you like. They come from your phone, because there is no server to send them.
Twelve ready-made programmes
Whole weeks (moving, the house, looking after an animal, the garden, winding down) added in one go. You untick what you already do before it even exists. Every one of them is free.
What it looks like
- None due
- Some
- All done
- Missed
No account. No sync. No ads.
There is no server to send anything to. Your tasks, your history and your settings live in a database on your device, and nowhere else. A day is only written down when you act on it, so a task you ignore leaves no trace. Deleting a task keeps everything it recorded, so your statistics stay honest about what you did. You can export the lot to a file you can read, and import it back. The only exception is in-app purchases, handled by the App Store and Google Play.
And also
- A colour per task, so you know it at a glance
- Six task colours that stay apart under colour blindness
- Five themes, each with its own day and its own night, and ten app icons
- A stopwatch or a countdown, with laps
- Export and import everything, in a JSON file you can read
- English and French, following your device
Free, and what isn't.
The app is free, and so is nearly all of it: every kind of task, every reading, the statistics, the twelve programmes it ships with, and one programme of your own. Optional purchases unlock the extra colour themes, and your own programmes after the first.
Once, not a subscription. A purchase belongs to your store account rather than to one install, so a new phone can ask for it back.
Questions
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up, no sign-in, and nothing to sign in to: the app has no server.
Is it free?
The app is free, and so is everything you need to use it. Extra colour themes and your own programmes after the first are optional one-off purchases. Never a subscription.
Does it sync between my devices?
No. There is no server, so there is nothing to sync to. In exchange, your history is yours alone: you move it, when you decide to.
Does it work offline?
Always. There is no server, so there is nothing to wait for: the app works exactly the same on a plane, underground, or in a country where you are not paying for data.
Are there reminders?
Yes, and your phone schedules them itself. Nothing leaves the device to fire one, so a reminder arrives whether or not you have a connection.
What is a programme?
A set of tasks installed in one go: a morning routine, a running plan, looking after a dog. The app ships with twelve, and you can write your own.
What if I change phone?
Export a backup from Settings, then import it on the new phone. Everything comes across, settings included. Your purchases are attached to your store account and restore from there.

No subscription, no ads, and most of it is free. Keeping it published costs money every year — any support is welcome.
